Greetings from the UAE

Im on a little bit of a holiday to start off the New Year (or end the old as i celebrated the New Years somewhere over Baghdad). So I hereby present one of the icons of the emirate I am in. Some hard to find pics elsewhere as you are only allowed inside if you have a hotel reservation or if you have paid in advance with your creditcard for one of the services... ladies and gents, the selfclaimed seven star hotel Burj Al Arab.

Shadow Effect

    Everyone. Everything, has a shadow.

Think about it, as long as there is sun, never mind the sun, as long as there is some kind of light source we all have shadows. The Christmas tree that you’re planning to timber. The lion staking out its pray of the day. The leaf that falls from that yellow tree in your backyard. The person standing next to you and the person walking by. A shadow is on of those things that we can’t avoid, I mean, it is always there! It is your twin, a copy of yourself that is as black as night or as translucent as a cartoon ghost.

    Depending on where the light hits you, your shadow can make you taller, shorter, thinner, bigger, the very proportions that makes you YOU, is altered. Meet my shadow…

Maria and I went down to the lake Kolbränningen again to take some pictures and "we" decided that Maria should jump in the lake. We found a nice place with some dirty water to play with..
